鎌倉の静かな住宅地にある家と庭の再生プロジェクト。この庭には、山の谷間にあり湿気に困り家が傷みやすい状態でしたが、大地の再生の手法を取り入れさせて頂き、敷地内の必要な箇所に水脈を掘ると庭に治水を兼ねた小川が流れるようになりました。かつての趣を残しながら、風土と調和し、土地が呼吸し風が流れ、水を受け流す庭へ。それは住まい手の暮らしに静かな安心と潤いと感覚的な心地良さをもたらす庭になっています。
A home and garden restoration project in a quiet residential area of Kamakura. This garden was located in a mountain valley and suffered from humidity, causing damage to the house. However, by incorporating land restoration techniques, we dug waterways in necessary areas of the site, creating a small stream that flows through the garden while also serving as a flood control measure. While preserving its original charm, the garden now harmonizes with the local environment, allowing the land to breathe, the wind to flow, and water to be channeled away. This garden brings a sense of quiet reassurance, moisture, and sensory comfort to the lives of its inhabitants.
